Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
ILAB closely monitors the performance of our projects, assesses their effectiveness, and ensures good stewardship of public funds. Our projects begin by developing a Comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (CMEP) or Results Framework, which define the intended project objectives and outcomes and the benchmarks for measuring achievement.
Independent external evaluators and auditors review project performance and compliance with required regulations at various stages during project implementation. We work in collaboration with our implementers to address any challenges identified and contribute to project success. These assessments help both ILAB and our implementers to improve current projects and to implement effective approaches in future projects.

Leveraging Data to Build an Efficient Labor Market in the Northern TriangleAll economies, whether in the United States or in Central America’s Northern Triangle (El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras), need timely, accurate information to fuel efficiencies in their labor markets. These efficiencies, in turn, help ensure social stability and contribute to economic growth – both within countries and beyond. This project will seek to strengthen labor market information systems in the Northern Triangle to create useful labor market intelligence -- helping workers to find jobs, employers to fill the skills gap and economies to grow. |
